Briton charged with drug trafficking after cannabis found at home
Young Briton suffering from arthritis arraigned in court charged with trafficking cannabis.
A 26-year-old man from the UK was granted bail after pleading not guilty to trafficking 75 grams of cannabis.
Pierre Daniel Amarni Sciberras, from Portsmouth, was arraigned in court of police searched his residence and found the cannabis and other equipment related to the use of drugs.
The Police was acting on information received.
Inspector Jason Sultana also charged the 26-year old for failing to report that his identity card was not valid.
The man pleaded not guilty.
Requesting bail for the accused, legal aid lawyer Anthony Cutajar said Amarni Sciberras suffered from arthritis and was currently living in Malta with his mother.
He was granted bail against a deposit of €1,000 and a personal guarantee of €5,000.
