Court orders repayment of debts to beverage company

Magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera upheld a suit filed by Farsons Beverage Imports Company Limited, claiming the company was owed €7,184 by a certain Joe Vella.

The suit was filed on 19 February this year. The plaintiff argued that Vella owed the company for purchases he had made.

Although the defendant was repeatedly handed court summons, he never appeared in court.

Magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera ordered that payment of €7,184 should be effected, together with court expenses and interest till the date of payment.
