Vigilant citizens stop attempted break-in

A man suspected of trying to break into a residence in Sliema was promptly arrested by the police.

Vigilant citizens who saw the man attempting to break into a resident in Triq San Pawl immediately alerted the police. Within few minutes, members of the Rapid Intervention Unit were on site and the man arrested.

The incident happened at around 11pm.
