Belarusian woman in critical condition after Naxxar crash

The woman, 41, was a passenger in one of the cars involved.

The woman is in critical condition.

A 41-year-old Belarusian woman is in critical condition following a traffic accident in Triq Margaret A Murray, in Naxxar.

The accident, which was reported at about 5am, involved a Peugeot, which was being driven by a 34-year-old male residing in Rabat and a Vauxhall, driven by a 22-year-old woman residing in Birkirkara.

The 41 year old was a passenger in the Vauxhall. The driver of the Vauxhall was slightly injured but the other driver suffered no injuries.

Duty Magistrate Stafrace Zammit appointed an inquiry into the case.

Police investigations are ongoing.
