Two-year old in critical condition following Zejtun traffic accident

A two-year old boy is in a critical condition following a traffic accident in Tal-Barrani in Zejtun.

The accident happened at around 3pm and involved two vehicles, which had a head on collision.

One car was driven by a 30-year old Marsascala resident while the other was driven by an Italian man.

The 39-year-old Italian man, his wife and their son were injured in the accident and were given first assistance by paramedics. The police said that the child suffered life-threatening injuries while the condition of the two men and the woman are not yet known.
