Police seize 240 protected birds from Mgarr residence

The police today said that it discovered 575 birds in a residence in Mgarr, of which 240 were protected birds.

With the assistance of Malta Environment and Planning Authority personnel, the police seized the protected birds .

The find follows investigation which started following the confiscation of 400 protected birds at the Malta International Airport on 23 July.
