Civil Protection Department assisting in search
A police search for a suspected missing person turned out to be a false alarm after the man in question was found alive and well, enjoying a swim.
Cleaners reported seeing a pair of shorts and a set of keys on the shore and informed the police, fearing the worst. After tracking down the car that matched the keys and the name of its owner, an individual from Bormla, police found him diving nearby.
The Civil Protection Department had been called in to assist in the search, which took place in the area near the Splash and Fun water park in Bahar ic-Caghaq.
