A 68-year-old woman who was in critical condition after she was hit by a car in Triq l-Imdina, Qormi passed away during the night at Mater Dei.
According to the police's communications office, the incident happened at around 6.30pm. She was hit by a Toyota Corolla, driven by a 31-year-old man from Mosta. The car was driving towards Haz-Zebbug.
She was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.
An inquiry is being held. Police investigation ongoing.
