Body of French national recovered from sea

Police have reported that a French man was certified dead after being recovered from the sea. He was spotted lying face-down and motionless at sea this morning at Ramla l-Ħamra Bay.

The man, 72, whose cause of death has yet to be determined, was recovered from the sea by members of the Civil Protection Department. The report states that bathing-related items were found inside the victim's car.

Further investigations are underway while several experts have been appointed to assist with a magisterial inquiry.
