Indian woman dies after encountering difficulties while swimming
55-year-old woman was certified dead at Mater Dei Hospital after finding herself in difficulty while swimming in Sliema

An Indian woman found herself in difficulty while swimming in Fond Ghadir, Tas-Sliema, at around 7.10pm
According to the Police’s communications office, the 55-year-old woman, who lives in Sliema, was brought ashore by individuals who were in the vicinity.
An ambulance was called and she was taken immediately to Mater Dei Hospital, where she was later certified dead.
Police investigations are underway.
