Three-car accident on t’Alla w'Ommu hill

Three cars were involved in a head-on collision on the t’Alla u Ommu road, limits of Naxxar.

A woman, 35, was driving her Peugeot 207 towards Naxxar when she tried to overtake a Volvo trailer vehicle.

Upon overtaking, the car collided head-on with an oncoming van, heading towards Salini.

The Peugeot ended up facing the opposite direction, with the van mounting the kerb and hitting the wall.

The woman was hospitalised but is reported to have only suffered light injuries.
