Open centre manager suffers slight injury in scuffle
Somali resident at open centre arrested
A 20-year-old Somali national is being kept under arrest for assaulting the manager of the Ħal Far Open Centre with a stone.
The argument started between the Somali, one of the open centre employees and the manager. Police were told that the open centre resident struck the manager in the head with a stone.
The resident was arrested by police from the Rapid Intervention Unit and taken to Birżebbuġia Police Station for questioning.
The manager, 62, sought medical care at a polyclinic for the slight injury he incurred.
