Gozitan critically injured in Mellieha crash

A 28-year-old motorcyclist, who lives in Zebbug Gozo, has been critically injured following a traffic accident in Triq Selmun, Mellieha during the early hours of this morning.

The incident occurred at about 1:40am when the Suzuki 100 that the man was driving towards Cirkewwa lost control and crashed.

The Gozitan fell of the motorcycle, and was hospitalized where he was certified to be suffering from grievous injuries.

Investigations are ongoing.
