Maltese man arrested in Sicily

A 29-year-old Qormi man was arrested in Sicily after Italian police were alerted to his suspicious behavior on a train.

Jomic Calleja was arrested on a train headed to Messina. Maltese authorities issued an international arrest warrant for Calleja in December.

When the man began acting suspiciously, police officers looked into the incident and discovered the man's warrant. He was arrested and taken to Messina for further questioning.
