Six-year-old boy injured in fall

A six-year-old boy was injured this afternoon after falling from a height of around one storey.

The incident occurred this afternoon in a private residence in Main Street, Qormi at around 5pm. Initial investigations suggest that the boy was on the roof together with his father. The boy is then said to have fallen through a skylight, falling around three metres in the process.

Informed sources explained that the boy was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by his parents.

He is currently being treated for injuries. His condition is not yet known.

Police investigations are ongoing.
