75-year-old woman hospitalised following traffic accident in Dingli Street
A 75-year-old woman was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital this morning after she was hit by a car in Sliema.
The incident happened at around 8.05am, when the woman was crossing the street.
The police said the woman was hit by a Citroen Berlingo, driven by a 38-year-old Serbian residing in Msida.
The woman's condition is not yet known.
In a separate accident, a 36-year-old motorcyclist, of Msida, was grievously injured after he was involved in a collision. The man was driving a Yamaha V Max when he collided with a Skoda Favorit, driven by a 52-year-old man of Senglea.
The accident occurred last night at about 2am in Hompesch Road, Fgura.
