Updated | Fire in Gzira apartment • Three treated for smoke inhalation

The police said that a fire that broke out in an apartment in Sliema Road, Gzira, has been controlled by the civil protection.

No injuries have been reported but three people were taken to hospital after they inhaled smoke at the scene.

Police have said that it is too early to know what the fire originated from, but that investigations about the incident were on-going.

The fire was reported at 12.20pm.
