A car veered off into a quarry falling a height of three storeys, in an incident at Corradino, Paola.

Civil Protection Department officers were on site to handle the situation.
The driver was hospitalised after his Renault Megane crashed down a quarry at around 10:45am.
The vehicle apparently hit a parked car before leaving the road, and crashing through a gate to fall into the quarry.
It hit a room at the bottom, before toppling over on its back.
