Motorcyclist, pedestrian injured in accident

A female pedestrian has been hospitalised after being hit by a motorcycle, whose rider, 47, is also receiving medical attention, at about 8 a.m. in Triq Dun Karm (Birkirkara Bypass), Msida.

Neither the driver nor the pedestrian are in critical condition.

The crossing is a notorious accident spot, as many pedestrians opt to use the busy road instead of the subway.

District police are investigating.
