27-year-old hospitalised after being hit by a van

A 27-year-old man from Zabbar was hospitalised after getting struck by a van in Triq iz-Zingla, Zabbar at around 8:30am.

In a statement, the police said that the van, a Toyota Townace, was being driven by a 67-year-old man, also from Zabbar.

The 27-year-old is not in danger of dying but the extent of his injuries remains unknown.

Police investigations are ongoing.
