Tower Road temporarily closed following traffic accident

A woman has been hospitalised after being run over by a car while crossing Tower Road in Sliema.

In a statement issued on Facebook, the police said “Please avoid Triq it-Torri, Sliema, especially the area formerly known as Chalet, following its temporary closure due to a traffic accident.”

The woman’s conditions are yet unknown.
