Two injured in St. Julian’s quadbike accident

An Italian man and a Swedish woman suffered grievous injuries after their quadbike overturned at Ix-Xatt ta’ San Gorg at around 5am.

The police said in a statement that the 23-year-old man was driving towards the bay when he lost control of his quadbike. The quadbike overturned and both he and his 21-year-old passenger suffered grievous injures.

The two were rushed to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment and medics have confirmed that neither of them are in danger of dying.
