Naxxar farm engulfed by fire

A fire engulfed a farm in Naxxar, leaving at least 30 chickens and two dogs dead. The farm is situated in Telgha tal-Ghaqba. The incident happened at around 7.30pm. Other farm animals were saved.

The Police said that the farm owner, a 57-year-old man who lives on the farm, had just gone out when a nearby field owner informed him of the fire.

Firefighters were called in to put out the fire.
