Woman in critical condition after Birkirkara traffic accident

A 54-year-old woman from Attard is in critical condition and in danger of dying after she was struck by a car in Triq il-Wied, Birkirkara.

Police say that the incident occured at 4:30pm and that the car, a Range Rover Evoque, was driven by a 34-year-old woman from Attard.

The 54-year-old woman was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment, where she was later certified as being in danger of dying.
