Gharb man, 77, crashes car into wall
Man loses control of car, crashe into wall. Female passenger, 77, hospitalised and certified to be in critical state
An elderly motorist lost control of his car in Zabbar in an accident earlier today at 3:45pm, leaving his passenger in a critical condition.
The accident happened on Triq Villa Abate in Zabbar.
Police said the Gharb motorist, 77, lost control of his car, a Toyota Argo, and kept veering right into a wall. In his car was a female passenger, also aged 77.
The couple were hospitalised at Mater Dei Hospital, where the woman was certified to be in a critical state but the health of the motorist is so far unknown.
Magistrate J. Demicoli is leading investigations with Zabbar district police.
