Money and jewellery stolen from Rahal Gdid store

Cash and jewellery were stolen from a jewellery store in Pjazza Antoine De Paule in Rahal Gdid, police report.

 The robbery took place at around 11.15 am this morning and according to preliminary investigations, the 27-year-old employee, who is also a Fgura resident was serving two customers when the event occured. The robber burst into the shop wearing a crash helmet, and demanded jewellery and money from her while pressing something to her side.

The robber made off with the jewellery and cash, but no one was injured in the event.

Police investigations are still going on.
