Man critical after being hit by car

A 46-year-old foreigner has been certified as critical after he was hit by a car yesterday evening.

The accident took place on Sunday at 20:30 at Triq il- Kbira, l-Balluta, limits of St. Julian’s.

According to preliminary investigations, the Finnish man was hit by a Smart Passion, whcih was in turn being drive by a 25-year-old St. Julian’s resident.

The victim was rushed to hospital where he was certified critical, and district police are carrying out further investigations.
