Man critical after falling off roof

A 54-year-old Zabbar resident has been certified as critical after falling from the roof of his residence in Triq Santa Duminka in Zabbar.

The police were notified of the incident at around 16:00, and preliminary investigations showed that the man was carrying out some work on his rooftop, when he fell from a height of around two storeys, into an internal yard.

An ambulance was called on the scene, and the man was rushed to Mater Dei where he was certified as critical.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
