Motorcyclist hospitalised after crash

42-year-old man injured after skidding and crashing his motorcycle in Paola

A 42-year-old motorcyclist was this morning hospitalised after being injured in a crash in Vjal Santa Lucija, Paola.

The incident occurred at about 9:35am when a Peugeot Tweet driven by a 42-year-old man from Zejtun skidded and crashed into a Toyota Rav4 driven by a 72-year-old Syrian residing in Tarxien.

The motorcyclist was conveyed to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment.

His condition is not yet known.

Police investigations are ongoing.
