Norwegian woman drowns in Ghadira Bay

A 79-year-old Norwegian woman died today in Ghadira, the police confirmed.

A request for assistance was raised by two men who noticed the woman, face down, floating in the water.

The two men jumped into the sea to bring the woman to shore, but she was certified dead on site.

A magisterial inquiry has been appointed.
