The woman was struck by the large vehicle on the B'kara bypass

A 51-year-old woman suffered serious injuries after being struck by an open top bus in Birkirkara this morning.

At about 10:55, the B’kara resident was struck by the vehicle, which was driven by a 30-year-old man from Gudja. The incident occurred in Triq Dun Karm Psaila, known as the Birkirkara bypass.

Police investigations are ongoing.
