Gozitan dies in three-storey fall

A 42-year-old man from Ghajnsielem died in a three-storey fall this afternoon.

Police said the incident occurred in Triq il-Gnien, Ghajnielem at around 2:15pm.

Preliminary investigations by District Police suggest that the man died after falling down from the roof of a residence before falling a height of about three storeys onto the street below.

He was certified dead on the spot.

Duty Magistrate Joanne Vella Cuschieri launched an inquiry while police investigations are ongoing.
