Cyclist injured in Gzira traffic accident

A cyclist is receiving medical treatment after being involved in a traffic accident earlier this afternoon in Gzira. 

At about 1pm in Triq ix-Xatt, Gzira, the victim was first struck by the door of a vehicle as the driver opened it. The victim was then struck by another vehicle.

The victim was taken to Mater Dei for treatment however his condition is not yet known.
