Two arrested after gaming outlet robbery

Two youths were arrested last night in connection with a robbery on a gambling establishment.

The incident took place at about 9:40pm in a gambling shop on Triq il-Kbira in Mosta. A masked man entered the shop and demanded money from an employee, aged 52. The man threatened the employee. Police are not excluding the possibility that he may have been armed.

The two, one aged 21, the other 18, were arrested at about 12:15am by members of the Rapid Intervention Unit.

A number of experts are investigating.
