Parapet wall collapses on worker in Naxxar

A man was injured earlier today when a parapet wall collapsed onto him.

The incident occurred at around 12.05 today at Labour Avenue, Naxxar.

Sections of the media have reported that the man was working on a construction site beside an abandoned building. The crane allegedly hit a wire, causing balustrades to collapse off the rooftop.

According to reports, the man was rushed to Mater Dei hospital where he is suffering grievous injuries.
