The Police last night stopped a 16-year-old boy after he was spotted driving a car in Valletta. Underage and unlicensed, the teenager turned out to be the brother of the 12-year-old boy from Hamrun who was stopped multiple times for driving his mother’s BMW without a licence.

The Police Officers’ Union within the GWU confirmed the familial relationship on Facebook.

The car chase by RIU and district officers started in Hamrun and ended in Valletta.

Since he is over 14 years of age, the teenager will be arraigned in court in a traffic sitting.
