Youth placed on probation after attacking police officers

An 18-year-old from Zebbug, Gozo was handed a two-year probation order and fined €800 for having attacked two police officers.

The Gozitan court also ordered the youth to foot the bill for damages caused to “property of the police force” when he was arrested in the early hours of  Sunday morning in Rabat, Gozo.

He was also charged with being drunk in a public place, using foul and indecent language in public, disturbing the public peace, disobeying police orders, and threatening another man.
