Driver grievously injured after Mosta crash

A 29-year-old man from Siggiewi was grievously injured following a traffic accident yesterday.

The incident occurred in Triq id-Durumblat, Mosta, at about 4.15pm. The man was driving a Mazda RX7 towards Ta’Qali when he lost control of the vehicle, smashing into a Toyota Auris driven from the opposite direction.

The driver of the Auris, a 36-year-old resident from Mgarr, was slightly injured.

The 29-year-old was conveyed to Mater Dei Hospital where he was certified as suffering from grievous injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
