Boy, three, run over by car in Birkirkara

A three-year old boy suffered slight injuries after he was run over by a car in Psaila Street, Birkirkara.

The incident occurred at 11:25am close to the Eurosport outlet, when the boy reportedly ran into the middle of the road.

Police told MaltaToday that the car in question was driven by a 63-year old man from Mosta. The boy has since been taken to Mater Dei for treatment, where he was certified as having suffered slight injuries.
