Libyan stabbed, critically injured in fight

26-year-old Libyan residing in St Paul’s Bay in danger of dying after early morning fight in St Paul’s Bay

A 26-year-old man is in danger of dying after he was stabbed during a fight in St Paul’s Bay.

The fight occurred in Triq il-Kavetta, St Paul’s Bay at around 4am and involved several people, the police siad.

The police said that a Libyan man residing in St Paul’s Bay was stabbed by a sharp and pointed instrument.

The man was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital, where he was certified to be suffering from critical injuries.

A magisterial inquiry is under way.

Police investigations are ongoing.
