Armed robbers break into farmhouse, man arrested

A man is being held for questioning after an attempted armed robbery in a farmhouse in Dingli this morning.
Police said two hooded men, one of whom was armed with a knife, entered a farmhouse in Triq ir-Rabat, Dingli, this morning at around 4:30am and asked the owners for money.
The police said the thieves kept on insisting on being given money but fled the farmhouse after they realised that the victims did not have any money to give them.
No one was injured in the incident.
An inquiry is being held.
Police investigations are ongoing.
