Motorcyclist grievously injured in Xemxija crash

A motorcyclist was grievously injured this afternoon after he was involved in a collision with a car in Xemxija, the police said.

The incident occurred at around 3:10pm in Xemxija Hill, St Paul’s Bay when a Husqvarna Nuda 900R driven by a 42-year-old Briton residing in Sliema collided with a Kia Creed driven by a 50-year-old man from San Gwann.

The Briton was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital, where he was later certified to be suffering from grievous injuries.

He is not in danger of dying.

The driver of the Kia Creed escaped unharmed.

Police investigations are ongoing.
