Two hospitalised after early morning car crash

Two men were hospitalised today following a traffic accident on the Marsa-Hamrun bypass at around 5:30am.

Police say that there was a collision between a Toyota Elf, driven by a 34-year old from Marsascala and a Toyota Vitx, driven by a 24-year-old from Msida.

Both men were taken to Mater Dei Hospital for medical treatment, where whilst the 34-year-old has been certified to be suffering from injuries of grievous nature, the medical condition of the 24-year-old is not yet known.
