A six-year-old girl suffers serious injuries in a head-on crash involving a police car in Gharb, Gozo
A six-year-old girl suffered serious injuries when the car she was in was involved in a head-on crash with a police car in Gozo.
The police said that the girl was treated for serious injuries in the Gozo hospital but she was not in danger of dying.
The accident happened shortly after 2.30p.m in Triq Santu Pietru, Għarb, when a BMW 120D Sport being driven by a 25-year-old Briton resident in Gharb collided with a police car driven by a 27-year-old constable from Sannat.
The drivers and a 25-year-old woman who was also also in the BMW were not hurt.
A Magisterial inquiry is under way.
