Four hurt in traffic accident

A woman suffered greivious injuries while two men and another women suffered light injuries in a three-car accident that happend earlier this morning at 7:20am.

The accident happened on Burmarrad road in Mosta.

Police said the impact was between a Mitsubishi Shogun vehicle being driven towards Mosta by a 36 year-old man from St Paul Bay, and a Ford Transit and Peugeot 309 being driven towards Burmarrad. The cars were being driven by a a 40-year-old woman and a 59-year-old man, respectively.

A 51-year-old woman from Naxxar was a passenger in the Ford Transit.

The four persons were taken by ambulance to Mater Dei Hospital.
