AFM rescue sailor stung by poisonous fish

The AFM patrol boat Melita I was dispatched in the search mission off Dingli Cliffs
The Armed Forces of Malta Rescue Coordination Centre dispatched the Search and Rescue Launch Melita I yesterday evening, following a distress call around 13nm off the coast of Malta.
A Maltese registered vessel requested the AFM’s assistance following what seemed to be a poisonous fish sting suffered by one of its crew members.
The Filipino sailor was transferred to Haywharf base and taken to hospital by ambulance.
