Motorcyclist injured in traffic incident

A 30-year-old man was injured in a traffic accident in Triq il-Missjoni Taljana, Kalkara, earlier today.

The police said that the incident happened at around 11am when a collision took place between a Triumph driven by the man and a Ford Ka driven by a 24-year-old woman.

Both residents are from Kalkara.

The motorcyclist was rushed to Mater Dei hospital where he was certified to be suffering from grievous injuries, but not in danger of dying.
