Elderly pedestrian hit by motorcyclist

At about 1:00am, an 81-year-old woman was severely injured when she was run over by motorcycle in Tower Road, Sliema.

A medical team assisted the elderly woman on the scene before she was taken to hospital.

The motorcyle was a Kawasaki ZR1000 being driven by 40-year-old Libyan residing in Swieqi.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
