Man grievously injured after being hit by car

A 23-year-old Lija resident was injured after being hit by a car in Mosta. The incident happened at around 11.15am at Triq ic-Cinju, Mosta.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the man was crossing the road when he was hit by a Nissan Micra being driven by a 23-year-old Mosta resident.

The victim was rushed to hospital where his injuries were certified as grievous.

Police investigations are still underway.
