Firearms, cocaine and cannabis discovered in police raid

Firearms, 1.5 kg of cannabis resin, 550 grams of cocaine, 250 grams of cannabis plants, cash, and other drug-related paraphernalia were all discovered by police following a raid of a garage in Attard.

Police said that after weeks of observation, the police's drug squad searched the garage on Friday night after it was suspected the garage was being used to divide drugs into small bags before being sold.

The police arrested four people aged between 20 and 23.

The suspects were remanded in custody, while two of them were arraigned on Sunday afternoon.

Police investigations are ongoing.
